Janet Lincé is musical director of Choros, newChoir and the professional orchestra, Corona Strings as well as co-conductor of Encoro with Sarah Tenant-Flowers. As a chorus master she has worked with the BBC Symphony Chorus, the Philharmonia Chorus and the St Endellion Festival Chorus. She is currently chorus master for the highly acclaimed Newbury Spring Festival Chorus which she has prepared for concerts conducted by Richard Hickox, Kurt Masur, Yakov Kreizberg, Roy Goodman and David Parry. Janet is active as a workshop facilitator, having worked with many choirs throughout the UK and New Zealand. She is keen to raise the status of choral singing and to challenge the traditional image of choirs in the UK. Janet is an active member of the Association of British Choral Directors, training young conductors.
